Oklahoma State Parks: Natural Falls State Park

(February 2015) This was our first state park expereince in the state of Oklahoma. We were looking for hking trails and scenic waterfalls, and we found them.

It only cost us $5 per car to enter the park. The park itself has a campground, group shelter, paved bike trails, a basketball court, and a maze of hiking trails, cool bridges, and a large waterfall.

The visitor,s center is small and has a little store inside of it. The park staff were very friendly and informative. Their trail maps were not very good. You could probably hike all the trails in the park in less than a day. So if you are an avid hiker, this is not the park for you. However, if you are on your way across highway 412 and need an awesome place to wak around with scenic views, this is your park.

All we did for this adventure was the trails as we were on a day trip to Rogers, Arkansas. But we want to go back and camp over a nice weekend some time in the summer. If you get a chance drop by and see this park, it's well worth the drive over.
